This newly built main bedroom provided a much-needed third bedroom in a sweet-but-small bungalow.  Window coverings were the finishing touch needed to give screened-privacy during the day, while still letting plenty of natural light into the north-east facing room.

  1. A double track with beautiful sheer curtains in front and blockout thermal lining behind. The sheers are a linen-look polyester which is ideal for a sunny position because they are less likely to ‘move’ and are more durable than linen.

  2. Having two separate curtains on a double track means the only the sheers can be across during the day, giving a lovely softness to the room as well as privacy from neighbours.

  3. The Weathermaster 60mm white faux-wood venetian blinds above the bed and the adjacent ensuite let plenty of light in during the day, and are easily tilted for night-time privacy.  They also tie in well with the existing blinds throughout the rest of the home.

“We’ve recently added a bedroom onto our house. From the first consultation I always felt Tui listened carefully to our ideas and it was important that we created the look we wanted.

Using her experience and knowledge of the design industry we now have a room that we really love. Beachy themed with a touch of luxury in the gorgeous curtains she suggested we use. We are so absolutely thrilled with our room.

Thank you Tui”
